Deeply Rooted Compost Bucket (PRE-ORDER ONLY)

When you purchase a Deeply Rooted Compost bucket, you help our operations by cultivating organic soil for our plants and produce grown for our Zero waste mobile grocery store. This helps us towards our mission of becoming a Zero waste entity making our operations full circle!

Items we accept: 

• fruits & vegetable stems & cores
• old plants
• toilet paper, napkins, paper towels & their carboard cylinder
• Bread
• Eggshells
• All food waste including plate scrapings and uneaten food
• Paper plates
• Compostable cups and cutlery (Greensafe, Ingeo)
• Coffee grounds with filter
• Tea bags & used loose teas (make sure they’re not made of plastic)

Order residential porch Pick up for +$5.00/week or Drop off your bucket's contents for free at our 2581 Marlborough Detroit, MI. Please "place an order" no matter if you want pick up or delivery. We'd like to track the frequency of your drop offs for a special gift later. Comercial pick up available for businesses and include a customized container with wheels and pick up of over 25lbs of produce. Images will be uploaded once they have been rendered. 

Each time you would like us to pick up your compost bucket, you must purchase a Pick Up option to notify us. Subscribe for the whole month and save on time! You will receive a text/call notification when we are on our way. Please strive to have your compost bucket at your door, ready for pick up by 9am on the day of pick up. 

Signs for farm drop offs will be labeled in Spring 2022, if you would like to drop off your compost contents during February or March, please pour them out them near the piles of mulch. 

OUTSIDE OF THE BUCKET: Old Cotton (preferred but not required) t-shirts can be collected and donated to Deeply Rooted Produce. Please notify us in the "notes" section of your order if you will be donating t-shirts.
