Linda Kay is an advocate for sustainability, protecting our natural environment, human and ecological health, while driving innovation and not compromising our way of life. Mrs. Pruitt's Gourmet CHA CHA's goal is to have healthy and positive effects on the community and help the environment. Hamissi Mamba & Nadia Nijimbere (Baobab Fare)
Baobab Fare is owned and operated by Nadia Nijimbere and Hamissi Mamba, a wife and husband team, that came to the United States from Burundi in 2014, yearning to start a new life by taking advantage of the business opportunities in Detroit. More than just a restaurant and market, Baobab will serve as a safe space for other immigrants and Detroiters alike, knowing that it is a meeting place where all are welcomed and embraced. Baobab will help to fill a gap as it relates to African fare and culture in the city.

Nur’s Honey was established in late 2018 by Abdulrahman Abdinur in order to bring to the Detroit area Michigan made raw honey. We owe our uniqueness to being made with love in our local area. Nur means light in Arabic, our vision in starting this company was to offer products that brought light to a sustainable industry in Michigan. We operate out of Midtown Detroit, and deliver jars and bulk pails to various individuals & companies throughout the Midwest.
